Leading fitness and nutrition professionals will headline three days of workshops during this year’s Lake Tahoe Wellness Weekend, hosted by the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe on Oct. 21-23, 2011.
Held on the shores of Lake Tahoe, the all-inclusive event boasts a mix of beauty, health, nutrition and wellness classes and seminars. Aikina Ballet Fusion, belly dancing and various yoga courses (some held outdoors, weather permitting) will introduce participants to the latest fitness trends. Spa treatments and personal skin consultations are designed to pamper and educate.
Life coaching sessions, cooking demonstrations and wine tastings round out the weekend’s official schedule, and guests can fill free time with optional hiking, biking, kayaking and outdoor activities.
The 422-room, AAA Four Diamond Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is set along Lake Tahoe, not far from the region’s ski resorts and recreational offerings. In addition to 500 feet of private lakefront beach, the property welcomes guests with a fully-equipped fitness facility, a 20,000-square-foot spa, several on-site dining options and a 24-hour casino.
Lake Tahoe Wellness Weekend packages start at $449 per person single-occupancy and $649 double-occupancy. Rates include all events and classes, plus a $100 credit at the resort’s Stillwater Spa. A $100 per person day rate allows non-lodging guests to participate in classes, as well.
