DVF Opening Its First Shop in Hawaii

Starting in October, fashionistas won’t have to jet to L.A. to get the latest Harper leather daybag or one of those iconic wrap dresses from DVF.

The New York City-based luxury brand is opening its first store in Hawaii — at Ala Moana Center near Neiman Marcus — on Oct. 6.

The 2,162-square-foot retail space — created by the legendary Diane von Furstenberg and designed similarly to her recent Soho store — will feature, of course, classic DVF aesthetic, with its stainless steel, signature brass twig detailing, and black and white oak fixtures.

It will offer the full DVF ready-to-wear and accessory collections, as well as its new fragrance, DIANE.

“So many of my designs are inspired by nature and beauty,” Furstenberg said in a press release, “so I am so glad to find a home for them somewhere as breathtaking as Honolulu!”

DFV, one of the premiere names in fashion, was founded in 1972. Renowned for its signature wrap dress and prints, the company has grown into a global luxury brand with 61 shops worldwide, including 41 stand-alone boutiques.
