Breguet’s Second Year Partnership With New York Philharmonic

Famed watch brand Breguet will partner with the New York Philharmonic for a second year. This second season began with a private dinner on September 20th, on the eve of the Opening Night Gala, at the penthouse of GRAMMY Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell who treated guests to a surprise performance.

“I love the idea that we are celebrating music and watches” said honoree Joshua Bell who was presented with a Breguet Classique “Réveil du Tsar” for his contribution to musical arts. “Obviously music and time are such perfect partners and I always think of Breguet as the Stradivarius of watches.”

The evening incldued a five course dinner from celebrity chef Todd English. Guests of the intimate affair included U.S. brand president for Breguet  Michael Nelson, CEO of IMG Artists Jeff Furhman, president and executive director of the New York Philharmonic Zarin Mehta, CEO of Tourneau James Seuss, philanthropist Daisy Soros, and actress Melissa George.

The following evening, Breguet joined dignitaries and notables from around the world to celebrate  the Opening Night of the 170th season of the New York Philharmonic. The highlight of the night was the grand concert starring Soprano Deborah Voigt. Attendees of this star-studded evening were brand president for Breguet U.S. Michael Nelson, president and executive director of the New York Philharmonic Zarin Mehta, former governor of New Jersey  Jon Corzine, actor Alec Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg and Nathan Lane.
