Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance Wooden Boat Show

The premiere event was sponsored by Swiss timepiece manufacturer Frédérique Constant.

Last month, 100 antique boasts were the main attraction at the 39th annual Lake Tahoe Concoursd’Elegance Wooden Boat Show.

The show drew a crowd of more than 5,000 guests to Carnelian Bay. The wooden boats, hailing from all over North American, competed in 13 different classes. It was a who’s who of vintage maritime indulgence, showcasing  the premiere wooden boats in the country.

Receiving top honors was the 19-foot 1939 Gar Wood custom Jean Ann. The vessel is owned by Jonathan and Jean Trevillyan of Acton, California and clenched the coveted “Overall Best in Show” title, a prestigious coup for a first time entry. Jean Ann also received “Marque Class Best of Show” amongst more than 30 other boats in this class.

The premiere event was sponsored by Swiss timepiece manufacturer Frédérique Constant, who gifted the “Best In Show” winner with the limited edition Runabout Moonphase.

The annual Lake Tahoe Concoursd’Elegance Wooden Boat Show is highly regarded as the best wooden boat shows globally and was founded by the Tahoe Yacht Club in 1972.
