NUMBER:Lab Spring 2012 Runway Show

Fashion Week started a day early for the boys with the NUMBER:Lab Spring 2012 show taking  place on Wednesday afternoon at The Standard New York.

Designer Luis Fernandez borrowed from both the French Riviera in the 1930s and contemporary skater style to craft a collection of graphic, athletic-inspired men’s wear that was marked by collaged stripes, inventive use of performance fabric and high-contrast color.

Key pieces included the color-blocked board shorts, striped pegged pants, cadet jackets, and the fractal black-and-white print created in collaboration with artist Joseph La Piana.
