Oktoberfest is one of the world’s most famous festivals that originated in Germany in the early 1800s. Fortunately, San Franciscans don’t have to travel all the way to Bavaria to experience this beer-drinkers dream festival.
Tomorrow, EPIC Roasthouse is celebrating Oktoberfest at the restaurant’s bayside patio from 12 – 4 p.m. Admission includes unlimited German-inspired gourmet eats from Chef Jan Birnbaum, as well as local beer and live music from Deutscher Musikverein.
Executive Chef Jan Birnbaum’s menu includes:
–Pretzels with Beer Mustard
–Red Beer Soup with Spicy Cabbage Kraut
–EPIC Homemade Bratwurst Sausages with house made Sauerkraut
–Roasted Porchetta with Jalapeno Apple Relish
–Pork and Beans “Our Way”
–Potato Dumplings braised in Guinness Stout
–Pork Schnitzel with warm potato salad
–Ginger and Vanilla Ice Cream Floats with Stout Beer
Come join in the festivities, listen to live music, sip some delicious beer, marvel at the stunning Embarcadero view, and enjoy the sun.
Oktoberfest officially ends on Monday, so mark your calendar for tomorrow!
