Haute Event: The Westfield Style Tour Featuring Celebrity Stylist Stacy London

Stacy London of TLC’s What Not To Wear and the Westfield Center have partnered to present the Westfield Style Tour. On Saturday, September 17, 2011, the tour arrived at San Francisco’s Westfield Center.

The Westfield Style event was a total sensory fashion experience, where guests had the opportunity to engage in a variety of style activities.  London began the event by answering audience questions, offering expert advice on fashion trends, tips, tricks, “dos”, and “don’ts”.  She then hosted a live trend show featuring both trends and classic fashion from Westfield Center Stores.  Her expert style team gave makeovers to three VIP guests.

London also unveiled the premiere edition of Westfield Style, an informative shoppers manual that navigates the Westfiled consumer to shop easily, wisely, and stylishly.  London, Editor-in-Chief, explained, “Shopping should be fun!  Shopping should be easy!  Westfield Style is meant to make your shopping experience just that. No more buyer’s remorse. Strategize your purchases. Always feel like you’re dressed your best.  We’ve filled it with all the tips and tricks you expect from me on TLC’s What Not To Wear, but with one very big difference: everything-every piece of clothing, every accessory-is available at Westfield retailers RIGHT NOW.”  The guide can be downloaded at www.westfield.com/us/style/the-rx

A contribution from the Westfield Style event was made to support Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s new documentary, Miss Representation.  A thrilled Newsom was in attendance to spread word about the film, which has already gained support from major film festivals, celebrities, and Oprah Winfrey. Miss Representation will premier on October 20, 2011 on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network.  For more information, visit www.missrepresentation.org.
