As the city condemned by the New York Times as one of the most unfashionable cities in the States, San Francisco rebukes the title with the grand opening cocktail party of Curve Boutique on Filmore.

Curve is a premier designer boutique with out posts in Los Angeles, Miami, New York.  Owner Nevena Borrisova chose 2360 Filmore for her San Francisco outpost for it’s historic location.   Ali Sonsini Turner will be heading the personal shopping services of the store and expounded how excited she was to inject some Balmain, Burberry Prosorum, McQueen and a little known Italian designer Antonio Berardi into some San Franciscian wardobes.   She wore a floaty Berardi dress and accessorized with some pyramid cuffs from Tom Binns.

Perhaps it’s not the mecca for street style, where long legged gazelles clad in Proenza Shouler roam free, but there are some serious fashion players here in San Francisco and they all came out in full force for Fashion Night Out, namely Curve Boutique’s opening on Filmore.  Spotted, Yves Saint Laurent mohawk heels in cobalt and black.  Lots of agressive Louboutins with classic Chanel.  Rodarte mixed with Elizabeth and James.  Socialite Vanessa Getty made an appearance, wearing head to toe Theyskens’ Theory.

By the looks of this crowd, San Francisco is quite the fashion forward city.
