On Friday night, seven-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Bruno Mars, who was in Sin City for the iHeartRadio Music Festival, treated party-goers to a special live performance at The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio. The superstar rocked the crowd, performing several of his hit singles including “Grenade” during which “The entire crowd club was signing along and waving lighters from side to side,” said an insider.

With the energy levels high, the heartthrob also treated the packed house at The Bank to a live rendition of his smash hit, “The Lazy Song.” After Mars’ performance, he was seen taking photos with fans and socializing with fellow party-goers, including “Glee” cast-mates Naya Rivera and Darren Criss.

Once back at his VIP table, Mars was shocked as he was presented with an over-the-top specialty cake in the shape of an old-fashioned microphone. Mars and his entourage of friends partied, danced and toasted with shots of tequila until approximately 3 a.m. when he retreated to his VIP suite.

Also on Friday night, the iHeartRadio Music Festival hosted a private party at hot spot Gold Boutique Nightclub & Lounge at Aria presented by Beats By Dre to celebrate the first successful day of the two-day concert event. iHeartRadio executives and industry insiders in town for the Festival, including chairman of Universal Music Group’s Interscope-Geffen-A&M Jimmy Iovine mixed and mingled with the VIP crowd, including Dr. Dre and The Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am.

The party was so packed at one point while DJ Clue was spinning a special set behind the deejay booth that several guests opted to be seated at The Deuce Lounge, including Coldplay’s drummer Will Champion.
