Haute 100 Update: Wade, James, Bosh to Host ‘South Florida All-Star Classic’ Charity Game with Celebrity Coaches

The Miami Heat’s “Big Three”Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh – will be hosting a charity game next week on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:00 p.m. with all proceeds to benefit a South Florida educational charity. “The South Florida All-Star Classic” is set to take place at Miami’s Florida International University, where Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas is head coach of the the school’s men’s basketball team.

The game will feature a slew of NBA stars, including Miami’s Mario Chalmers, Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook, New York’s Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire, New Orleans’ Chris Paul, Washington’s John Wall, Atlanta’s Jamal Crawford, Houston’s Jonny Flynn, the Clippers’ Eric Bledsoe, Dallas’ Caron Butler, Memphis’ Rudy Gay, Boston’s Rajon Rondo, Philadelphia’s Lou Williams, Golden State’s Dorell Wright, Portland’s Wesley Matthews and free agent Eddy Curry.

Nike will also have a major presence at the game with a team of Brand Jordan (a sub-brand of Nike) players – Wade, Anthony, and Paul – pitted against Nike endorsers James, Bosh, and Durant.

Comedian Kevin Hart, who has previously appeared in Brand Jordan ads with Wade, will be coaching the Jordan team, with Miami-based rap star Rick Ross to take the Nike team.
