RM Auctions Most Expensive Cars on the Block in Monterey

RM Auctions, one of the world’s leaders in auctioning and restoring luxury vintage automobiles, will be auctioning off an impressive collection of vintage cars August 19 – 20. The 9 most expensive cars up for bid, along with their prices, are listed as follows:

1970 Porsche 911S, Price: Unknown.

1955 Ferrari 750 Monza Spider, Price: $ 2.5-3.5 million

1953 Ferrari 375 America Coupe, Price: $ 1.75- 2.1 million

1935 Bugatti Type 57 Grand Raid Roadster, Price: $ 1 million- 1.3 million

Delahaye 135MS Speciale 1939, Price: $ 950,000-1.25 million

1953 Siata 208/S Spider, Price: $ 875,000- 1.17 million

1958 BMW 507 Roadster, Price: $ 800,000- 1.2 million

1935 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental drop head, Price: $ 800,000- 1 million

Bentley 4 1/2-Liter Open Tourer 1929, Price: $ 700,000- 900,000

This group of cars come from all over the world and each one has its own unique history. Some of these models are retired race cars, while others were once used in movies and owned by celebrities such as Steven McQueen. What they all have in common, though, is the custom restoration jobs that they all underwent via RM Auctions. All of these cars are considered collectors items for various reasons, such as the 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza Spider of which only 35 were ever produced.
