I want to thank all the beautiful people of Nantucket who came to support our efforts to spread hope and healing on this historical and magnificent island! From Vanessa Noel and her team including Morgan Stewart and Michael Thom to Abby and his wife from A.R.T. Fine Jewelry & Art of Worth Avenue in Palm Beach who are visiting for a special jewelry show through August 14th, thank you!! Thank you Boston, Palm Beach and Nantucket resident George Albrecht for being there as my greatest fan, to Denise LaBombard Olsen, one of the founders of The Studio Nantucket, your daughter and all your friends, as well as Carlos Hidalgo, Managing Director of the best restaurant on island, The Pearl, and The Boarding House Nantucket Island, and all your friends and of course, Vanessa’s mom, Emma and her father, as well as the mother of Peggy Rose of Peggy Rose P.R. from Boston, dear friend and jeweler, Jay Bauer of Seaman Schepps, and his beautiful fiancé Eileen Berman of Palm Beach and all the many more people who helped to celebrate my mom and embraced my book and were inspired by my story!! It was a great success friends!
My trip to Nantucket was an important one. The message of LOVE in my book is incredibly relevant given the troubled times in which we live. Love lasts forever. Love never dies. Indeed love helps us thrive!!
As we approach the 10th year anniversary of 9/11/01, let us share SONIA’S RING, and help replace hatred with hope and honor those that were lost on 9/11 and those victims of terrorism worldwide as well as anyone with a heart. We all have our 911 moments. Have you ever had a really bad day? A time when you were totally devastated, knocked to your knees, breathless, speechless, simply numb? For some, it is the heart wrenching loss of a loved one, a pet, a job, a lover, or anything that causes your heart and mind to become so overwhelmed that you are unable to cope with basic daily activities. Whether through an unexpected tragedy, the piercing pangs of divorce, or devastating financial loss, the pain and suffering hurt, and for you, it is a horrible, personal 911 moment.
Furthermore, in response to recent New York Times article published Wednesday, August 10th, written by Anemona Hartocollis, entitled “10 Years and a Diagnosis Later, 9/11 Demons Haunt Thousands”, it is clear to me that there is much healing work to be done friends and I need your help to spread my message!! As Hartocollis says, “One of the measure of the psychological impact of 9/11 is this: At least 10,000 firefighters, police officers and civilians exposed to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center have been found to have post-traumatic stress disorder, and in a kind of mass grieving, many of them have yet to recover, according to figures compiled by New York City’s three 9/11 health programs.” Therefore, Haute Living friends, as leaders of your communities, you can make a difference, share my story and spread my message to help heal the world and make it a better place for you and for me and for all of humanity.
Let’s make a happy Haute Humanity filled with healing and hope. Haute Healing not only can happen on Nantucket, but throughout the world. So, special and precious friends, spread LOVE now, and share SONIA’S RING: 11 WAYS TO HEAL YOUR HEART, with your family and friends!!
With Gratitude and Love,
