Haute 100 Update: Hints at a Tory Burch Fashion Week Runway Show and Public Offering

Haute 100 New York member Tory Burch launched her eponymous label in 2004 and has seen nothing but skyrocketing popularity and success since. The business has been rapidly expanding and now rumors are floating around that the stylish Burch will be hosting a full runway show at next month’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.

The news was leaked via Twitter from Wall Street Journal style correspondent Christina Binkley and she credits an “impeccable source” for the news, going so far as to hint at a Tuesday morning time slot for Burch. And as long as we’re talking about Burch amping up her usual growth and presentations, Women’s Wear Daily has also speculated that the company may be looking for a new CFO to broker an IPO.

Although the rumors garnered no confirmation from a Tory Burch spokesperson, who said that they have “no plans to go public”, a decent amount of buzz has been surrounding the rumors – enough that we’re still keeping a sharp eye out for. In the meantime, what is confirmed at least is that Burch will be opening her first uptown store on September 8 for the famous Fashion’s Night Out, and hopefully we’ll see more from the lovely Tory Burch to come – possibly on the runway… or the stock market!
