Trump International Chicago’s ‘Sixteen’ Welcomes Cold Heaven Cellars for Intimate Wine Dinner

On Thursday, July 21, Sixteen, the sixteenth-floor modern American restaurant and bar at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, will welcome Cold Heaven Cellars for an intimate dinner and wine tasting. The evening, hosted by Rachael Lowe, the downtown Chicago hotel’s beverage director – along with Cold Heaven Cellars Winemaker/Owner Morgan Clendenen and Partner Scott Manlin, is a continuation of the restaurant’s innovative wine programming.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception in Sixteen’s wine gallery, which sits alongside the Chicago river and affords stunning views downtown Chicago. The evening invites wine enthusiasts to indulge in a delectable pairing of Sixteen’s American cuisine with crisp Viognier, Pinot Noir and Syrah vintages.

Following the reception, they will move into the restaurant’s River Room for a private dinner at 7 p.m. Sixteen’s Chef de Cuisine Joseph Rose and Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Kosikowski will treat guests to a five-course tasting menu paired with several Cold Heaven Cellars wines, including:
2009 Santa Ynez Valley Viognier,
2008 and 2009 “Le Bon Climat” Viognier, Santa Maria,
2008 and 2009 “Sanford & Benedict” Viognier, Santa Rita Hills,
2009 “Makepeace”, Santa Barbara County, and “Nevertell” Pinot Noir,Santa Rita Hills,
2005 “Second Sin”, Syrah, Santa Barbara County, 2003 Late Harvest Viognier
