Sir Richard Branson Rents Out His Private Island

Ever wonder what it’s like to live like a mega-rich mogul such as Sir Richard Branson?

Here’s your chance to find out. Branson is renting out his 9.2 hectares private Island.  Makepeace Island, located on the Noosa River in Australia boasts a boathouse, pool and spa, tennis court and media room.  The living quarters are in a Bali-style compound with a main building featuring a massive bar, a four-bedroom guesthouse and several two-bedroom villas.

The island offers the ultimate luxuries and privacy.  It can accommodate up to 22 guests with rates starting at $7,900 for up to eight guests, rising upwards of $14,990 for 22.  This price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as transportation to and from the island.
