This Friday, July 8, 2011, is East L.A. Meets Napa, a local wine tasting event that matches Northern California wineries with L.A.’s favorite restaurants.  The event created to celebrate the richness of Mexican food and success of L.A. Latino-owned wineries will begin at 6:00pm at Union Station.

For $200 a ticket guests can sample hors d’oeuvres and wines at different booths throughout the Station.  All proceeds from the event will benefit AltaMed, a company dedicated to providing affordable healthcare throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.

For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the AltaMed website.
