It looks like Dwyane Wade is about to get even more unstoppable on the court. Shortly after visiting his girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union, after her Lasik procedure, Wade decided to get the procedure done as well. He was so impressed by Union’s results that he even sought out the same doctor who performed her Lasik procedure, “Surgeon to the Stars” Dr. Cory Lessner at Millennium Laser Eye Centers in Sunrise, FL.
Wade’s decision to get to the vision correction surgery has left him as pleased with his results as Union. He commented, “It’s actually an amazing experience and nothing to be scared of. My eyes are getting a lot better by the minute. Dr. Lessner’s professionalism is second-to-none and he really takes care of you. The result is awesome. I would recommend having it done to everyone.”
Dr. Lessner, owner and medical director of Millennium Laser Eye Centers, was happy to work on our hometown hero and stellar athlete, explaining, “Here is a professional athlete at the top of his game who like so many others we’ve treated at Millennium over the years had less than perfect vision but were able to ‘get by’ without contacts or glasses. Having cared for a number of his friends and family members, Dwyane approached me because he was not entirely happy with his vision. His procedure went like clockwork.”
Dr. Lessner is one of the leading laser vision correction surgeons in the country with more than 19 years of experience and 25,000 successful surgeries under his belt. He has worked on some of today’s biggest names – from South Florida and beyond – including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rex Lee from HBO’s Entourage, Ryan Cabrera, Jeff Conine, Roberto Luongo, Jimmy Johnson, A.J. Burnett, and more. For more information, visit www.havelasik.com.
