4.  Tell us about a perfect day in Seattle.
I get up in the morning and look out my window onto the sun illuminating the water of Elliott Bay.  I go to the Library at Hotel 1000 and enjoy a cup of coffee, read the newspaper and watch the city begin to wake up.  I walk to Pike Place Market and interact with the local farmers as they set up their booths with ripe cherries, blooming flowers, the faint smell of fresh fish permeating the air.  I continue up the Waterfront to the Olympic Sculpture Park and enjoy the warm croissant I got at the Market, while sitting on a bench as I breathe in the salty air.  I walk back down First Avenue and pop into various home furnishing and design stores, as I contemplate how I want to re-decorate my Living Room.  I stop in Watson Kennedy to get a Seattle souvenir for my best friend.  I go to the Spaahh at Hotel 1000 and enjoy a 120 minute Hot Stone Massage, followed by a Hydrating Facial.  I go back up to my room, the sun just beginning to crest over the city onto the bay.  I open my window to hear the sound of the fog horns as the cruise ships come in and out of port.  I fill the tub and soak, as I enter a full relaxation state.  I go down to BOKA Kitchen + Bar for the beginnings of Happy Hour.  I enjoy Ahi Tuna Poke and a White Peach Cosmo as the bar begins to fill and patrons begin to spill out on to the sidewalk seating area.  My friend joins me and we sit down for dinner, feasting on Wild Alaskan King Salmon, Potato Puree and a fruit crisp – I can tell the apricots are at the peak of their season.  I retire back up to my room, feeling a sense of exhaustion brought on by a truly perfect day.
