Summer and frozen cocktails go hand-in-hand in Las Vegas. Sip (or guzzle) one of these frosty concoctions to fend off the heat and cool off. Bonus: some of these frozen cocktails are found by the pools, offering you an additional way to stay cool.

1 Liquid Pool Lounge

Frozen cocktails need the proper setting, and Liquid Pool Lounge provides it with two VIP pools surrounded by towering plants, 85 chaise lounges and 35 day beds. This summertime retreat cools you off with the banana daiquiri with rock candy syrup, La Frutiere banana puree, cream, Malibu banana rum and Captain Morgan 100 rum. Or go for a traditional strawberry daiquiri with rock candy syrup, fresh lime juice, La Frutiere strawberry puree, Toschi Fragoli Wild Strawberry Liqueur and Cruzan Light Rum. You’ll forget that the temps are above 100.

2 Solaro and Riva

Relaxing by the pools at the Palazzo and Venetian? Stop by Wolfgang Puck’s Riva at the Venetian or Solaro at the Palazzo for summertime sips that will give you a brain freeze. The Lava Flow features spiced rum, banana syrup, frozen strawberry mix and frozen colada mix.

3 Resort Pools at Wynn Las Vegas

A frozen cocktail is never far away when you’re at the resort pools at Wynn Las Vegas. The Citronade and the Strawberry “Crush” Mojito are perfect poolside cocktails. The Citronnade blends Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Cointreau Liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup, while the Strawberry “Crush” Mojito mixes Bacardi Dragon Berry Rum, mint leaves, strawberries and lime juice. Want to make your own simple syrup? Combine equal parts of fine granulated sugar with bottled water or regular granulated sugar with boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Cover and refrigerate until ready for use. Keeps for up to one month.

4 Isla Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar

Mexican cuisine and frozen drinks are like the BFFs of pairings. At Isla Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar, James Beard award winning chef Richard Sandoval creates traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern twist in a casual chic setting. We recommend the Peach A Rita with 1800 Repo, Peach Schnapps, sweet and sour, rock candy syrup and peach slices or the La Cubana mixing up Cruzan Guava Rum, Cruzan Mango Rum, Frozen Monitor Mix and mint leaves. Refreshing and relaxing, all in one glass.

5 Pool Bar at the Riviera

Sometimes you need to get away from the craziness to simply relax in the sun. At the Riviera (you know, from the scene in “The Hangover” when the gang is cleaning house at blackjack), sit at the Pool Bar for a candy bar of frozen concoctions. The Orange Crush blends Skyy Infusion Blood Orange Vodka with Coral Crush, the Mango Mama mixes up Cruzan Rum with mango and the namesake Riviera Punch cools you off with Cruzan Rum blended with mango, Grenadine and a float of Myer's Dark Rum. Nearly a dozen frozen drinks make the menu here.
