“In these hard times, especially during the recession, we at Media Monopoly Group are very happy to see incredible money going to charities related to children’s illness and incurable diseases.”

On June 7, nearly 1,100 people filled the famed Grand Ballroom at Cipriani Wall Street for Samsung’s 10th annual Hope for Children Gala. The event raised an impressive $1.4 million dollars for children across the world, the highest total profits in the decade-long history of the event. The gala was swarming with VIP’s like President Bill Clinton, Regis Philbin, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Jason Mraz, Demi Moore, Padma Lakshmi and Harry Connick Jr., among others.

The event’s silent auction helped raise a great sum of the money donated that night. The auction featured a Rolls Royce Phantom Convertible donated by Manhattan Motors, autographed memorabilia from numerous celebrities and athletes and designer jewelry by Benny and Company just to name a few.

“In these hard times, especially during the recession, we at Media Monopoly Group are very happy to see incredible money going to charities related to children’s illness and incurable diseases,” said Senior Vice President of Media Monopoly Group Maurice Aguilar.

In addition to the silent auction and money donated by celebrities and patrons, sponsors and products included our very own Haute Living Magazines, MAC makeup, a 7-day vacation to St. James Resort Club and Spa, tickets to a major league soccer game, branded Samsung bracelets, celeb gift bags and Bionova skin care products.
