Graye in Los Angeles is the epitome of Italian class and design. The store is a melding of fine furnishing and craftsmanship dictated through the eyes of Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni. On May 12, the haute furniture store was the scene of a posh gathering in celebration of Lissoni’s furniture designs for Living Divani and Porro, which Graye also carries exclusively in Los Angeles and Southern California. Maria Cicione, owner of Graye and hostess to her guests as they absorbed the confines of the showroom which focused solely on Lissoni’s recent work. The collection includes sofas, beds, chairs and storage pieces. On hand to support the talented designer was a litany of L.A.’s most important architects and designers reveling in Italian wine and munching on fine culinary bites from Joan’s on Third. Some of the touted names included Christine Anderson, Antonia Hutt, Gary Pastor, Mark Hershman, Mark Imagawa, Edie Cohen and Francesca Garcia-Marques.
