Haute Event: Mark Ronson Spins at Haze to Celebrate Nivea’s Look Like You Give a Damn Weekend

Mark Ronson spins at Haze.

On Saturday, world-renowned deejay and musician Mark Ronson spun an exclusive set behind the turntables at Haze Nightclub at Aria, marking his first Las Vegas performance in three years. Ronson arrived in Vegas Friday night and headed to Gold Boutique Nightclub & Lounge to kick off the weekend’s events with Esquire Magazine and Nivea for Men’s “Look Like You Give a Damn” three-day weekend blowout at Aria with lifestyle experiences and VIP events featuring cigar rolling, poolside massages, skin treatments and Blackberry engraving.

At Gold, he admired the original Elvis Presley decor and furniture pieces before heading to Haze to get a feel for the lavish nightclub in preparation for his Saturday night performance.

On Saturday, Ronson wore a Prada double-breasted suit to set the mood for a packed house at Haze. He blended hits from Depeche Mode, Jackson 5, Adele, Afrojack, Aloe Blacc and his very own “Valerie” featuring Amy Winehouse throughout the evening.

Throughout the high-energy evening, the packed house at Haze received selective shout-outs over the mic when Ronson paused in between songs, including a very touching closing shout-out in memory of his pal DJ AM. Following his set on the decks, which featured corresponding lighting displays and glamourous burlesque dancers, the international superstar hopped off-stage and retreated to his VIP table, where he spent the remainder of the evening with friends, including DJ Sky Nellor.
