Save the Date: Inaugural North American Mille Miglia Tribute Race to Take Place in California

Live entertainment company Stratus Media Group has announced plans for a North American edition of the legendary Mille Miglia race to debut stateside in California this August. While the iconic race is traditionally an open-road endurance test in Italy, it is California’s engaging and breathtaking landscapes that have drawn organizers to choose the state to host the inaugural North American Mille Miglia Tribute.

In preparation for the adventure, President and CEO of Stratus Paul Feller presented an overview of the new California route and the details of this exciting new venture of the 82-year-old sporting event to Mille Miglia drivers, crews, fans, and the media. He said, “I am extremely excited and honored for Stratus Media Group to be a part of and partner with this renowned historical event. We look forward to bringing the tradition and passion that has made this one of Italy’s premier events to the United States this August. The MMNAT will exhibit the panoramic Golden State, its diverse communities, and the love of this great automotive sporting event.”

Taking place from August 14-17, the premier North America Tribute will continue to carry on the tradition of Italian racing against the backdrop of California’s historic back roads through Monterey, Santa Barbara, Napa, and San Francisco and will act as a sporty prelude to the famed Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The U.S. edition of the esteemed race will accept only 300 vehicles to participate. All vehicles must have been built between 1927 and 1957 and American-made, reflecting the elite standards that have been so ardently established by the Italian Mille Miglia.
