Rosa Mexicano Celebrates its 9th Annual Festival for Cinco de Mayo

Celebrate the triumph of the battle of Puebla in true Mexican fashion at Rosa Mexicano on this Thursday, May 5, 2011 starting at 11 a.m. at both of its locations in Mary Brickell Village and Lincoln Road. This will be the ninth Annual Festival Cinco de Mayo event that the modern Mexican eatery hosts.

For the annual celebration, Rosa Mexicano will add a little va va voom to the traditional margarita with the launch of its “French Margarita,” a luscious concoction inspired by the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France during the French-Mexican War. Also to honor the special holiday, the restaurant will offer a unique lunch and dinner service featuring an array of made-to-order, authentic Mexican specialties, in addition to their a la carte menu.

Starting at 4 p.m. at Rosa Mexicano’s Mary Brickell Village location, guests can enjoy festivities either in the dining room or on the outdoor patio, where a Mexican-style street festival will take place and many signature Mexican drinks and dishes will be offered. A live DJ will perform from 5 p.m. to midnight, and a Mariachi band will perform between 6 p.m. through midnight.
