Oprah Winfrey Snags Ralph Lauren for Farewell Season

Oprah Winfrey has an extraordinary way with words and people. She also knows how to deliver the best in television and throughout her incredible career as host of her own show she has acquired a litany of celebrity friends. As a token of his admiration for her and her endeavors, fashion mogul (and Haute 100 New York member) Ralph Lauren, has agreed to appear on her farewell season with just eight days away from its grand finale.

The Oprah Winfrey Show announced that Mr. Lauren will be the featured on Wednesday’s show.  The show will air at its usual time with an unusual guest as the queen of daytime had an opportunity to chat with the king of fashion at his ranch in Telluride, Colorado.  It will be Lauren’s first television interview in 20 years and the first time television camera crews will be invited onto his fashionably rural estate in the hour-long program.  Oprah’s audience will be given a view into the family’s life, the adoration of his vintage 1948 Jeep, and a rare look at Lauren’s antique-filled tepees. The interview will cover his career, personal and professional milestones, as well as his future.

Tune in as the duo make television history this Wednesday on ABC at 4p.m. EST.
