Kelly Wearstler Designed Boutique Hotel Now Open After Long Awaited Renovation

L.A. is known for sexy, sleek and trendy hotels all over the city, but the talk of the town is the French inspired and newly renovated, The Maison 140 Hotel located in Beverly Hills. This intimate, 44-room boutique luxury hotel is known for its millésime décor and warm vibe that pays tribute to the classic Parisian inns of the last century.

With its striking and eye catching visual design, this is exactly what Interior Designer and Hotel 100 Los Angeles member Kelly Wearstler had envisioned while creating this timeless venue. The Maison was simply made to custom fit the creative traveler that wants the French experience while still having the luxury of walking down to Rodeo Drive for some world-class shopping!

Renovations started back in 2009 and have has had fans on the edge of their seat. It definitely was worth the wait to see how the boutique hotel turned about over the pasted years. The dull shades of yellow and grey that The Maison once had, have now transcended into a much more vibrant color scheme of “persimmon” as described by Wearstler. The rooms also include new lavish beds, headboards, curtains, chairs, and desks to make you feel like you’re actually in the romantic city of Paris.

To celebrate the re-grand-opening of this exquisite place, the hotel is offering an exclusive Renew Package which entitles guest to champagne, a continental breakfast, complimentary parking, and wireless. (Promotion runs through June 30, 2011, so make sure to book in advance)

Though the hotel does not have much of a lobby or public space, but you can sure pop into their sister properties–the Avalon and the L’Ermitage to use the amenities and enjoy a yummy dinner.

The Maison 140 is located at 140 Lasky Drive Beverly Hills, 310.281.4000; www.maison140beverlyhills.com
