After months of anticipation, the Fiat 500 by Gucci has finally made its debut in Paris. As the culmination of an incredibly fashionable collaboration between Gucci creative director Frida Giannini and Fiat’s Centro Stile, the chic auto doubly marks the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy and Gucci’s 90th birthday.
Frida Giannini was present to debut the special edition of the iconic car, which comes in either black or white. The event was celebrated with a star-studded party at Fiat’s MotorVillage Rond-Point des Champs Elysées for the debut of the white edition, while the black version was presented at a chic cocktail party at Gucci’s store on Avenue Montaigne, accompanied by Gucci’s newest ready-to-wear apparel and accessories collections.
Both editions feature satin chrome detailing, ivory and black interiors, and an undisputedly stylish look. With design more focused on a vintage feel, the hubcaps match the car’s body color and bear the cursive Gucci signature on the hatchback and doorpost. The rear brake calipers are in the rich Gucci green, while the door line of the car is striped in the classic Gucci green and red, in addition to the seats, gearshift, key-cover, carpets, and seatbelts. The interior also boasts exceptional detailing, such as embroidery, luxurious materials, glossy and satin chromes, and velvet varnish.
Gucci will also be launching a line of luxurious accessories to match the vehicle, such as travel accessories, small leather goods, drivers, tracksuits, bombers, driving gloves, sunglasses, and a watch, which are available through select Gucci stores and online.
The Fiat 500 by Gucci is available starting at $25,350, exclusively online at 500bygucci.com until June 30.
