Haute Retreat: Four Seasons Maui Hosts Yoga Getaway – June 27

Imagine striking Warrior One on one of Maui’s most popular beaches this summer.

The golden sands of Wailea Beach — named one of America’s Best Beaches in 1999 — is an ideal setting for the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea’s Summer 2011 Yoga Retreat, running from June 27 to July 2.

Part of the resort’s Unforgettable Events series, this retreat offers yoga enthusiasts an opportunity to connect their minds and bodies in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the Islands.

As an added bonus, celebrated Los Angeles-based yoga insturctor/writer/foodie Kathryn Budig, will lead the retreat, which focuses on the flow-y Vinyasa style of yoga.

Budig — who has been featured on covers of Yoga Journal, Yoga International, Om Yoga and Common Ground — mixes playfulness into her challenging classes, focusing on breathing, proper posture and movement. At this retreat, she will guide participants through a series of poses designed to identify, open and strengthen both body and mind.

Cost to attend five-day retreat starts at $4,500 per person, which includes accommodations in a luxurious garden-view room at the award-winning resort, full breakfast daily at DUO restaurant, a $500 resort credit for spa treatments and services, four sunrise and three sunset yoga sessions, two offsite excursions to inspirational settings, daily “Talk Yoga” sessions and more.

Limited availability. Contact pat.makozak@fourseasons.com or call 808.874.2939 for more information or to reserve your spot.
