Haute Event: Restaurant Bistrot Celebrates Its 4th Anniversary with Star-studded Dinner

On the day when the rest of the world have been saluting Prince William and Catherine Middleton wedding, Moscow restaurant Bistrot had an earth-shuttering occasion of their own. The sumptuous Tuscany restaurant was celebrating its 4th anniversary in Italian manner – vividly and loudly.

To mark this significant occasion, Bistrot chefs Massimo Ferrari have created a special tasting dinner menu, which features a selection of their signature dishes, including Warm Potato and Octopus Salad, Capretto al forno con patate alla fornaia, smooth risotto with creamy white mushrooms and, on top of it, lots of Italian cheeses, truffles and wine.

To make the experience complete, an Italian singer Naike Rivelli – daughter of the stunning actresses Ornella Mutti – was invited to give a one-off performance for the guests. These included key figures from the worlds of Russian cinema, fashion, design and media mingled with influential entrepreneurs.

The evening program also included contests, gifts from the Forte Village resort in Sardinia and, of course, a huge birthday cake.

Moscow’s Bistrot is the little brother of the world-famous restaurant in the Italian resort of Forte dei Marmi. The concept of the opulent restaurant has been successfully transplanted to the Russian capital. The designers have recreated the feel of a Tuscan villa, with a terrace, wrap-around windows and a Mediterranean fountain on the patio.
