Haute Event: Jermaine Dupri Kicks of Memorial Day Weekend at Tryst

Jermaine Dupri spins at Tryst.

Last night, Tryst Nightclub in Las Vegas kicked off Memorial Day weekend with a special deejay set by hip-hop star and producer Jermaine Dupri. The highly anticipated pre-holiday weekend affair drew thousands of party-goers to witness the one-of-a-kind performance, including massive new video screens on either side of the turntable positioned in front of the 90-foot waterfall backdrop. Native to the stage from working with renowned recording artists Weezer, Lil Wayne and Destiny’s Child, Dupri had the entire club on itsr feet, dancing to his unique tracks that were mixed on the fly.

As the night progressed, resident deejays Manufactured Superstars made an appearance to the Wynn Las Vegas hot spot, checking out the revamped stage that they will take over tonight. Fresh off his 30th birthday celebration at XS Nightclub, San Diego Chargers’ linebacker Shaun Phillips joined the deejays at an exclusive VIP table, where they partied until the early hours of the morning with friends and fans.
