Audemars Piguet was the proud sponsor of FLASH: LIGHT, an event that took place on Saturday night at old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. For one night only, the country’s oldest cathedral was converted into a beautiful nighttime environment of provisional, site-specific public art. The front of the cathedral became a 3-D, transparent timepiece including Audemars Piguet Signature movements and branding within the gear and mechanisms of the clock. Another highlight of the evening was the world premiere of a fully animated light installation by multi-media artist Jeff Grantz. Additionally, Let Us Make Cake was a collaborative projection that was featured on the façade of The New Museum.
