Patrik Hoffmann

Category: Originator

Company: Ulysse Nardin

Industry: Timepieces

What made him Haute: Patrik Hoffmann was born in Switzerland, the land of luxury watches, and has spent his entire life working in the business. He began his career with Oris where he started as an accountant for the company, then later changed career direction when he completed a course in Marketing and Management. The change spurred Patrik to move on to work for a watch distribution company where he travelled throughout South East Asia, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia until he met his fate in Malaysia, when he met the late CEO and visionary of Ulysse Nardin, Rolf Schnyder. After building a strong relationship, Rolf Schnyder convinced Patrik and his family to move to Florida’s shores to build up the Ulysse Nardin USA division and in 1999 Patrik’s career with the leading luxury company began and he became one of the driving forces and major reasons for Ulysse Nardin’s success in the North and Central America markets.

What makes him Haute now? After Patrik’s good friend, leader and mentor, Rolf Schnyder unexpectedly passed away in April, 2011, the committee of Ulysse Nardin could not deny the obvious choice to appoint Patrik to fill his predecessor’s shoes as CEO of the company. Patrik Hoffmann alongside holding the title as CEO, U.S. president and head of marketing worldwide for Ulysse Nardin has also helped the luxury timepiece company to open their first flagship location in Boca Raton.
