Keep It Light: Duca Sartoria Fashion

Color takes a unique role here as a yellow Solaro suit is instantly striking due to the red color of the material’s underside.

It’s that time. When spring dawns upon us and it becomes time to approach dressing from a new standpoint. For me, the look this season is about real spring; a time when we embrace lighter fabrics not only in weight but in similarly easy shades. At Duca Sartoria we explore those options to create a wardrobe that’s definitive of your unique style while staying true to the appropriateness of dressing for the season. Of course I have a few items topping my must-have list this spring—items that are easily incorporated into an existing wardrobe; and will put, if I may, a little spring in your step.

The light grey windowpane with a complementary purple check is definitely one of the newest materials in the Duca collection for this spring. Bold in a soft way and undoubtedly unique as far as combinations go, the statement will be one of easy elegance.

Another must-have classic piece is the Solaro. Obviously, color takes a unique role here as a yellow Solaro suit is instantly striking due to the red color of the material’s underside. Classic and timeless, it’s perfect for summer. Who wouldn’t want to embrace the style and elegance of past Solaro devotees like Italian industrialist and Fiat president, Giani Agnelli?

Of course, I always like a great new jacket. This season I think a light brown option is a great call. Worn with or without a tie, with grey pants for a more formal look or jeans or custom khakis to dress it down, the options are endless.

Essentially, light colors and light-weight fabrics will be the key difference in your spring wardrobe. I’m looking to natural shades that will work well together and undoubtedly complement your new tan.

Next time we’ll tackle summer looks; prepare to embark on a journey of linen and cotton selections in pale, ethereal shades, but until then, let’s enjoy spring. And remember, the light suit is the pleasure of the season.

Until then…

Ciao,

MaX
