Haute Fashion: Lady Dior Campaign Goes to Moscow

This week Dior Design House has revealed another image from the Lady Dior Campaign (celebrating anniversary of iconic Lady Dior handbag) starring gorgeous French actress Marion Cotillard. After Paris, London, New York, and Shanghai, the Lady Dior Saga now finds a new place. The next stylish destination for the globally skewed advertising campaign is Moscow!

The shot was taken by Craig McDean and styled by Marie-Amélie Sauvé. Marion poses inside a luxury room with a view on the colorful St. Basil’s Cathedral (celebrating its 450th Anniversary this June!). But the centerpiece of the advertisement is the epic Lady Dior handbag made in striking red tweed. It will be on sale in shops and boutiques worldwide in the beginning of May.

Although the image features Moscow historic background, it was taken in a studio in Paris, as due to her pregnancy Marion Cotillard was unable to make the trip to the Russian capital.

Not only does Moscow signify Lady Dior’s most recent launch, but the House of Dior is also anticipating a largescale exhibition at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. And on top of that Dior will reopen its prolific Stoleshnikov boutique.

The Pushkin Museum will present the exhibition titled Inspiration Dior which will run from April 28 to July 24, 2011. The exhibit will showcase the avenues through which the House of Dior has been inspired by, where art plays a major role behind the designs.
