Haute Event: New York’s Dress for Success Gala 2011

On Tuesday evening, International non-profit Dress for Success and decade-long supporter Bobbi Brown Cosmetics held the annual “Something to Share” Dress for Success Worldwide Gala 2011. A remarkable number of 1,000 guests gathered at Pier Sixty in Chelsea Piers and raised a whopping $1.75 million for the organization. The event also celebrated sixteen women who achieved economic independence after receiving professional attire, network support and career development tools through the organization. To date, the organization has helped over 600,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.

Guests in attendance included Niecy Nash, Al Roker, Deborah Roberts, Lauren Bush, Susan Saint James, Amy Astley, Cinidi Leive, John Demsey, Mayor Cory Booker, David Meister, Desiree Rogers and Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success Worldwide. The event co-chairs were Bobbi Brown & Maureen Case, President of Specialty Brands, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.
