Hope For Haiti Carissa Chesanek and Ryan Hall

On March 18, I was lucky to take part in the First Annual Celebrity Glam Squad “Hope for Haiti” Cocktail Gala that took place at the Player’s Exotic Car Rental which was ultimately transformed into a swanky Miami-inspired lounge. The night was filled with everything one could only hope for: cocktails, pastries, luxury cars and fashion. I made my way around trying each and every little morsel, deciding each one was better than the last.

The “Hope for Haiti” event helped benefit the Haiti Cherie Heritage Foundation, as all proceeds raised that evening were given directly to the organization. Designers including CLOAK, Sarahi House of Fashion, and Tanya-Marie Designs all showcased funky styles with young, budding models working the runway. The clothes were fun, fresh and all designed with a special cause in mind.

The cars were on display, sprawled all over the venue which included the brand new Rolls-Royce Ghost along with several gorgeous Lamborghinis and Ferraris. DJ Fly Guy who is known for spinning at various hot spots in Miami also took center stage with his beats playing, whom I got a chance to meet exclusively.  There were also plenty of things to buy. Many of the designers held booths for guests to check out and purchase the items to their liking. What better way to give to those less fortunate than to shop, eat and check out hot cars along with stellar fashion?
