The Asian University for Women (AUW) operates on the firm belief that education—especially higher education—provides a critical pathway to leadership development, economic progress, and social and political equality. Located in Chittagong, Bangladesh, AUW provides a world-class education to promising young women from across South and South East Asia and the Middle East.
It is fitting for OKKU to host this exclusive event; specializing in Japanese fine dining, the restaurant not only operates in a very competitive sector in the Dubai food scene but sets itself apart offering a unique ambiance; jelly fish swim leisurely behind the glass walls of the bar, soft furnishings and the low lighting create an atmosphere that works perfectly for both intimate dining and late night lounging.
Highly coveted brands Soirée boutique, Inès, Warda and Chickpeas will entertain with an exclusive ‘O’ Socialista fashion show showcasing fabulous LBDs. The exclusively designed LBDs will then be auctioned through a silent auction the same evening. Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and the Ahlan! & Masala judges will pick three lucky winner for the “Best Dressed” competition.
OKKU has a very large following and will be looking to it’s loyal clientele to come and support generously for this cause. Tables can be booked for AED 495 per person, The ticket price will go toward the donation to The Asian University for Women and will include an exclusive menu that has been designed to celebrate both traditional and modern Japanese cuisine. Created by Executive Chef Ryu Sato Gardiner the menu will include favorites from his home country as well as some of the signature heroes of the menu. Wagyu Beef & Foie Gras anyone?
