Save the Date: First Anniversary Gala for the Goose

On Thursday, April 7,  the Signature Room at the John Hancock Building will be buzzing with goodwill! The Ovarian Cancer Symptom Awareness (OSCA) group will host its very first gala. As every luxe event in Chicago, there will be fancy hors d’oeuvres and plenty of beverages, like the Signature cocktail, Goose Island Beer and wine. There will also be upbeat entertainment and a live auction for guests to enjoy and participate in.

OSCA was founded by Rick and Susan Roman who are fellow Chicagoans and wanted to step in and make changes when one of their dear friends was diagnosed with stage III Ovarian Cancer. Their mission is to “ educate both women and men about this deadly disease, one which is the number one gynecologic cancer killer of women.” In many cases, woman aren’t diagnosed until the very late stages and this is where the Ovarian Cancer Symptom Awareness group comes into play. They want to make woman aware of the symptoms, early detection, risk factors, and regular doctor consultations. Mark your calendars and come educate yourselves about this disease and have a great night all at once, don’t miss it!

The Signature Room is located at the 95th, 875 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL. For more information visit ovariancancersymptomawareness.org
