Rebecca Minkoff launched a five-piece apparel line in 2001. Â Her first success came when an “I love New York” tee she designed made it onto Jay Leno and into a few magazines. Â In 2005, Rebecca took a shot at handbags, shifting her apparel focus to accessories. Â Her eponymous line has had serious success, and with four years of consistent growth under her belt, Rebecca returned to her initial love; designing clothing. Â Her Spring collection was small but definitely chic, and this Fall one (equipped with a Lincoln Center runway show) left me wanting more (and a wardrobe full of RM!). Â She’s mastered the pochette (bag pictured) and has hit upon the biggest color of the season, “poppy” (pictured above). Rebecca is surely a fashion designer that’s one to watch…all over again.
