Celebrated British luxury car brand Aston Martin has been world-renowned for their innovative design, and that is exactly what they’re bringing into their collaboration with the Canadian luxury mobile phone manufacturer Mobiado. The product of this match made in design heaven is the CPT002 – a sleek and sexy concept smartphone fit for the most stylish and discerning of gadget enthusiasts.

Something that would be perfectly at home in James Bond’s palm, this lust-worthy futuristic phone launched at BaselWorld this year. But do not make the mistake that this is merely a phone, the stylish gadget layers a transparent touchscreen display on a sheet of solid sapphire crystal for a stunning, modern, and luxurious face. Platinum brackets on either side house the battery, electronics, and SIM card.

The device can sync with the Aston Martin to automatically unlock the doors as you approach and act as the key, as well as automatically work with the car’s display to show FourSquare points of interest, parking, and the rest of your expansive social media. Cameras in the Aston Martin allow the driver to share photos, videos, and information in real time via Twitter and Facebook through the phone and, in the event of a crash, the phone will record information from the airbag and other sensors throughout the car, including the accelerometer information from the phone itself.

The merging of these two prestigious brands offers Aston Martin an opportunity to break into the electronics sector, of which we hope to see much more. President of Bonac Innovation Corp. Peter Bonac said of the highly anticipated collaboration, “Like Aston Martin, Mobiado prides itself on design innovation and technological excellence.  We look forward to a long and prosperous working relationship, and are thrilled to be working with the prestigious Aston Martin brand.” We are too, Mr. Bonac.
