Haute Hotel: Sanctum Soho Offers A Right Royal Stay In London

With just over a month to go until the royal wedding, hotels in London for the night of the April 29 are filling up quick.

With the world’s media and fans of the monarchy flying in from all over the world as well as Londoners taking advantage of the public holiday, the capital’s wedding weekend promises to be one of crowds, high-spirits, street parties, and the maniac waving of Union Jack flags.

Still over at the Sanctum Soho Hotel, just off Regents Street, you’ll find an oasis of comfort, style, and sophistication.

An exclusive and extravagant playpen for the most discerning of guests in the heart of London’s buzzing West End; two beautiful Georgian townhouses have been converted into the 30-bedroom boutique hotel.

For those who hope to be part of the wedding celebrations, albeit without the hysteria, the hotel’s Royal Package promises to be one of the most sophisticated ways to enjoy the weekend in quintessentially British style.

On arrival guests will be treated to a luxury ‘Best of British’ goody basket complete with all the patriotic memorabilia needed for the big day. Expect the obligatory Union Jack flags, cupcakes, tea, scones, and jams—just in case you decide to keep the celebrations in your room.

As the wedding gets under way, head to the Royal Soho Palace to watch live footage on the rooftop sundeck while enjoying some Pimms; England’s most famous cocktail. Of course, this wouldn’t be complete without cucumber sandwiches, bowls of strawberries, and glasses of champagne to toast the newlyweds.

Later that evening the hotel’s No.20 restaurant will be offering a unique ‘Best of British’ menu giving guests the ultimate British ceremonial evening.

When you’re asked; ‘Where were you for the royal wedding?’ —as no doubt you will be—have you planned your answer to be as impressive as this?
