Haute Event: The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove Sunday Brunch Regatta

Pool Deck- Coconut Grove
In lieu of Miami Sailing Week, The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove had their own intimate gathering filled with drinks, food and remote controlled mini sailboats at the pool deck. The day was warm with a tranquil soft breeze, setting a perfect mood for a sailboat barbecue gathering.

Guests of the hotel were able to start their Sunday off right with an exquisite brunch filled with waffles and eggs galore in the quaint dining area. If they preferred to sleep late and skip brunch they could head straight to the pool deck for the barbecue feast from 2 to 6 p.m.

Throughout the afternoon, guests really seemed to be enjoying their time, taking in the sun and festivities. Some were sprawled along plush sofas, while others quietly sank in their own sanctuary under a VIP cabana and the rest enjoyed chowing down on the food the chef made near the dining gazebo as the children raced the small boats.

Sail Boat
An exclusive menu was given to the guests who were interested in eating by the pool, which included scrumptious burgers and sandwiches, like the Swordfish patty snuggled in between a warm bun. Fruity cocktails were also a hit, especially the Berry Mojitos that had perfectly placed blueberries and raspberries throughout the drink and a piece large mint on top for added effect.

The Sunday Brunch Regatta was quiet, relaxing and ideal for many locals who are in need of separating themselves from the wild spurts Miami tends to bring. A celebratory soiree of food, boats and a breather.
