The Daily Truffle went on behalf of Perrier-Jouët to the Women in Film pre-Oscar party at Soho House last weekend. Perrier-Jouët constantly supports the arts and has collaborations with name artists since it’s inception; they have art contests for young artists and commission famous artists all the time. Halle Berry hosted the celebration, which honored all the nominated women including Amy Adams (The Fighter), Melissa Leo (The Fighter), and Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit). Other favorite women we saw there included Jennifer Morrison (House), Kate Walsh (Grey’s Anatomy), PMK BNC’s Amy Fuller, my cousin Cami Curtis who is the manager of Mila Kunis, Brenda Song (one of Cami’s clients she brought along), Debbie Liebling (my former boss at Fox now now President of Production at Universal Pictures), and our hostess for the evening Academy Award winning producer and newly appointed president of Women In Film Cathy Schulman.
More nominees from all categories honored at the party were: Jacki Weaver (Animal Kingdom), Pamela Martin (The Fighter), Darla K. Anderson (Toy Story 3), Celine Rattray (The Kids Are All Right), Alix Madigan-Yorkin (Winter’s Bone), Lucy Walker (Waste Land), Jenny Beaven (The King’s Speech), Judy Farr (The King’s Speech), Sandy Powell (The Tempest), Stephanie McMillan (Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 1), Audrey Marrs (Inside Job), Jennifer Redfearn (Sun Come Up), Karen Goodman (Strangers No More), Samantha Waite (Wish 143), Trish Adlesic (Gasland ),and Sara Nesson (Poster Girl.)
The gift bags came with mini splits of Perrier-Jouët inside along with MAC makeup, and although you can’t see it in this picture is the new Hollywood must-have … a blow-out gift card from DryBar which is the new Hollywood brainchild … No Cuts. No Color. Just blowouts. Their newest location on Sunset Plaza is our go to stop. Like 40 minutes before every party … it’s like a pre-red carpet in there. Literally everyone runs in to get their hair done because it’s like that easy.
