Haute Eats: Seasons 52 Introduces Their Spring Menu

Spring is in the air, which means restaurants are redoing their menus left and right. But nobody does it like Seasons 52, which has built its whole point of view around changing with the seasons. For spring, the popular South Coast Plaza haute spot is bringing out surf, turf and of course, a new spin on their signature dessert, the mini indulgence.

“Spring provides great ingredients and flavors that inspire our seasonal menu and allow us to showcase some truly unique recipes,” says Cliff Pleau, senior director of culinary, Seasons 52. “And with an ever-changing menu of weekly specials, there’s always something new to discover at Seasons 52.”

New menu items for the season include spring thyme and parmesan crispbread, grilled lamb T-bone, Tasmanian trout, grilled spring asparagus, a tuna avocado roll, artichoke stuffed artichoke leaves (pictured above) and a sugar-free chocolate cookies & cream mini indulgence.

In the bar, they’ll be pouring a few new drinks, including the strawberry basil fusion, made with strawberry-infused Prairie organic vodka, fresh basil and organic agave nectar.

George Miliotes, Seasons 52’s Master Sommelier, has also updated the restaurant’s “Drink These Before They Become Famous” list, a rotating handpicked selection of wines for the season with new choices, including Marchetti Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Quinta do Crasto.

Seasons 52 is located at 3333 Bristol St., at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. For more information or to make reservations, call the restaurant directly at 714.437.5252 or visit their official web site at www.season52.com.
