Haute Dining: Breakfast Served Everyday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Vine Café

If you’re like us and (sometimes) after a late night out on the town happen to sleep through breakfast, but still wake with morning food cravings well past the hour of noon, then think of the Orange County favorite – Old Vine Café – tucked deep within Sobeca’s The Camp; all will be right with the world.

This bustling eatery is practically open ‘round the clock and while we count the lunch and dinner experience among our top ten restaurants in the area, the extended breakfast service pleases us as much as a plate of the Caramel Apple French Toast does.

The brothers Mark and Brandon McDonald have been dishing up such sweet delights as Pumpkin Pecan Brioche, Banana Pecan Crepe, Hazelnut Ganache Crepe and Cheese Mousse Crepe.  Or, if savory flavor is more to your taste, don’t miss the Vegetarian Omelet or our haute pick – the Italian Quiche.  Molto buono.

Other eclectic finds on the menu:  Fried Green Tomatoes, Nut Butter and Spanish Style Potatoes.

No reservations are accepted for Breakfast (and Lunch) offering a first-come first-served basis; however, reservations are highly recommended for dinner.

You have our permission to oversleep and stop by the Old Vine Café.  There’s a signature dish that’s sure to deliciously feed what’s ailing you.

Old Vine Café is located at 2937 Bristol Street, Suite A-102, Costa Mesa, 714.545.1411; For more information visit www.oldvinecafe.com.
