The 53rd Grammy Awards Present Online Charity Auction to Benefit MusiCares.

In a partnership with MusiCares and Kompolt auctions, the Grammy Foundation is celebrating the 53rd annual Grammy Awards by having an online charity auction.From now through Feb. 24, you can log onto the Grammy auction website and bid on approximately 100 exclusive music items. The items will be offered in two rounds of bidding.

First round items include two Platinum-level tickets to next year’s Grammys and related parties and events (starting bid at $7000); 3-Day VIP Lounge Tickets  for Coachella music festival; Guitars autographed by Jeff Beck, Bruno Mars, Tom Petty, Slash, Train and more; private guitar lessons with the lead guitarist from Michael Jackson’s This Is It; Concert tickets and backstage pass to see Maroon 5;  Music memorabilia autographed by Bon Jovi, Mariah Carey, Daughtry, Jay-Z, Ke$ha, Barry Manilow, P!nk, Carlos Santana, Barbra Streisand, and more. The second round of items will be from the awards show, and will launch on Monday, Feb. 14.

All proceeds from the auction will go directly towards MusiCares and the GRAMMY Foundation. MusiCares is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services, educational workshops, medical screenings to helping those in need. MusiCares’ focus is on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community. .
