As you may or may not know, singer/dancer/actor/entrepreneur/all around sexy-bringer Justin Timberlake launched his own line of tequila, neé 901 Silver Tequila in 2009. Until now though, it might have been a little hard to find here in OC. Forget that — Feb. 10 at 9:01 (obviously), SOL Cocina will be giving the liquor a welcome party full of good bites and amazing mixologist-approved cocktails.
Feb. 10 marks SOL Cocina’s inaugural Thursdays at 9:01, featuring a 901 Silver Tequila sampling, Chef-created antojitos, Live Nation concert ticket giveaways and a digital photo booth for guests, but will continue every Thursday to provide the county with a great place to come together for late night fun (the restaurant’s open until 1 a.m.) and great food.
“Thursday night is really the start of the weekend,” said Matt Baumayr, SOL’s general manager. “With ‘Thursdays at 901’ we want to create a great, relaxed vibe for our guests – a place to come and kick back with friends, listen to music and just chill. Launching our Thursday events with the debut of a sophisticated brand like 901 Tequila seems like a perfect fit.”
With a red carpet debut and the promise of weekly watering hole specials, you may want to clear your schedules for Feb. 10th and Thursdays beyond — if Justin taught us anything, it’s that he knows how to get PYTs following his every move.
