The slider. It does the job of a full-sized burger, but it fits perfectly in one hand and often packs a flavorful punch. This is a culinary treat that is practically perfect at anytime, (yes, I have known of breakfast sliders) when you have a craving for one it seems that you will go to great lengths to seek out the mini treat that tastes best in bunches. There are many ways to prepare a slider, just about any ingredients you like can be applied and that’s a big part of the fun. Do you like yours subtle? Or overflowing with toppings? Do you like fries on the side or some other equally delicious side dish? Whatever is on your slider menu, you first have to know what Atlanta hotspots have the best ones and I have you covered. Here is the list of the best sliders in Atlanta…bet you can’t eat just one!

1 Grindhouse Killer Burgers

This burger paradise located on Edgewood Avenue at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market is fully committed to providing customers with the absolute best burger experience they’ve ever had. Beef, turkey or veggie burgers with an array of toppings and sides are just waiting to be devoured slowly, making sure that you enjoy every bite. However, let’s get to the matter at hand, the sliders. The Grindhouse beef sliders with cheese and grilled onions are one of the most popular items on their menu, and with good reason. The patties are cooked to order and are the perfect size and thickness that true slider connoisseurs are accustomed to. Stop in and have a couple of bites!

2 Fox Sports Grill

Located within the Midtown oasis known as Atlantic Station, Fox Sports Grill has everything required to have the ultimate comfort food experience that is guaranteed to keep you coming back for more. Surrounded by leather furniture and a massive bar, Fox Sports Grill is paradise to those the crave sports and good food constantly. As for the other important component essential to any sports bar experience, the food is absolutely delicious. Standouts include: Fried Pickles, Blue Cheese Chips, BBQ Ribs, The Fox Burger and the Thai BBQ Chicken Pizza. However, the highlight (and the reason it makes the list) are the Kobe Burger Sliders that are grilled to perfection and served with caramelized onions and garlic mayo on a soft potato bun. I dare you to eat just one!

3 Barley’s Sports Bar & Lounge

For those who like spots with a lot of energy, great food, prime location and live entertainment, there is no better place to visit than Barley’s Sports Bar & Lounge. As if you need any more reasons to head down to this hotspot, the food is an experience in and of itself. The Barley’s Sampler, Quesadillas, Crab Cakes and the Shrimp Po Boy are great, but if there is one thing that you must try before you leave it’s the sliders, which are cooked to order and topped with your choice of toppings from cheese, vegetables and condiments. You are certain to be pleasantly stuffed after inhaling this culinary treat, but the discomfort is well worth it.

4 Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant

The premium beer brand has several restaurants around the country that showcase their beer menu and equally awesome food. The Midtown Atlanta location boasts two-stories, a banquet room, billiards area and an outdoor patio with breathtaking views of the city skyline. This is definitely an upscale spot to grab a few sliders, but the decadence is welcomed, right along with cathedral-like ceilings. Recently a “Diner’s Choice” honoree, Gordon Biersch has great food that makes you feel good after a long day and it’s a fun way to celebrate the weekend. The food is an asset and adds to the overall experience, with several menu options that are guaranteed to make your meal choice difficult. The sliders are no exception, as they grilled to a succulent brown and served on a homemade roll with a kosher dill pickle and special mustard sauce, they huge onion rings on the side are an added bonus.

5 Dave & Buster’s

You know the name, you know the history and you definitely know that Dave & Buster’s is a place where playtime and food are welcome. From the massive layout to the many areas of entertainment, this is a very family friendly spot; while the kids are enjoying the numerous games and attractions, the adults can enjoy the number of bars strategically located throughout that feature huge TV screens and sound systems. As much fun as all of the games and attractions are, another huge draw for the popular chain is their mouthwatering food. They have a great variety, from seafood and pasta to salads and burgers. Speaking of burgers, their sliders (affectionately called bar burgers) are a definite menu highlight, complete with American cheese and sandwiched between a soft Hawaiian bun. The seasoned fries are a delicious touch.
