Miami Boat Show: Marriott Biscayne Bay Opens Luxury Boater Bar

Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, Diamond Public Relations

Sit back and relax this weekend. Attendees at the 2011 Miami International Boat Show can come in for a break and check out the Miami Marriott’s luxury Boater Bar. This pop-up lounge is located on the fifth floor of the hotel and will be opened today through Feb. 21, from noon until sunset.

The Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay is displaying more than just their Boater Bar and stunning views of the Miami skyline, but is also showing off it’s recent $31 million renovation.

Quench your thirst from being outside all day by sipping on some premium cocktails while also enjoying a lavish full menu. Guests are treated to a life in luxury with not only good food and tasty drinks, but comfortable seating and charming music, which is a perfect way to kick up their heels.

“The idea for Boater Bar came together when we realized there wasn’t really a place for boat show attendees to take a breather during the chaos of the boat show.  Boater Bar will be a low-key escape where guests can grab a drink, a bite to eat or even conduct a business meeting,” said Barbara Readey, General Manager for Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. “Because we’re the only marina front hotel in the city, we’re in the center of all the action. The Boat Show seemed like the perfect time to create an outdoor lounge and provide a tranquil haven for both visitors in town for the weekend and local boating enthusiasts alike.”

Looking to make your way into the elite lounge? Get your access granted by providing a form of identification or affiliation with the Boat Show, like your broker or exhibitor badge. While the lounge is only opened to boat show participants, it also allows one guest to join with each person that enters.

For the people who aren’t part of the Boat Show this year but looking for their own posh setting, they can head over to the hotel’s new waterfront restaurant, Catch Grill + Bar that has both indoor and outdoor seating right on the marina along with delicious cocktails and fresh seafood.  We wouldn’t expect anything less.
