Haute Events: Boston Bruins Casino Night

The Boston Bruins Casino Night at the Westin Copley Plaza was a great success with a huge turnout. There were stacks of chips high and low as Bruins players and fans alike enjoyed their time and more importantly supported the Boston Bruins Foundation.

It was truly a special event that will go down in history for the Boston Bruins Foundation and will for sure lead to more great events in the future if you did not have a chance to check this event out. From my understanding there will also be golf event coming up once the weather gets better and the greens are ready for the Bruins.

“For all our fans and all our players, it’s a great way to interact with the guys,” said Bruins Foundation Director of the Development Bob Sweeney.

My own personal favorite part of the night was the speech given by Mr. Tom Smith who is head of the Thomas E. Smith Fight to Cure Paralysis Foundation. The speech was inspirational and a ray of hope for people who undergo the struggles of difficulties with spinal cord injuries. It is no doubt Tom was the star of the Casino Night.

Jeremy Jacobs who is also the owner of the Boston Bruins founded the Boston Bruins Foundation. Bob Sweeney a noted Bruins player directs the foundation.

Bruins players at the event included Milan Lucic, Patrice Bergeron, Nathan Horton, Tyler Seguin, and Zdeno Chara just to name a few.
